When you call O'Hare-Midway to make a reservation, we always ask you if you prefer a "shared" or a "private" limousine. But what does this mean? Many of our newer customers - and even some of our "old-timers" - are not quite sure of the difference.

A shared car is approximately 40% less expensive than a private car, because, in exchange for this reduced rate, you allow us the opportunity to pick up additional passengers. As a result, for trips going to O'Hare Airport, your limousine may arrive at your location as much as 15-20 minutes after your scheduled pickup time. Also, in order not to jeopardize the travel plans of a passenger riding with you, you must be ready to depart promptly at the scheduled time. For trips originating at O'Hare Airport, you must be willing to wait slightly longer while we possibly pick up passengers at other terminals. The advantage for you is - whether or not we have additional pickups - you are guaranteed the lower rate.

We only offer shared rates to and from O’Hare Airport and certain suburban locations. This rate is not available between the late night hours of 11:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M., and there are certain conditions under which a shared car is not available (major holidays, excessive luggage).
